Dave Eames is owner of Fossil Forge, a artist-blacksmith studio in Lee's Summit, Mo. He creates metal sculpture and other artful utilitarian objects for the home and garden. Dave believes in giving castoff objects a second life, so much of his work displays recycled or unwanted items.

I met Dave (so to speak, being that it was online) about a year ago. I was drawn to the natural and organic way he created his artwork. Also, recycling and caring for the earth is very important to me, so to see him use recycled glass in his work definitely drew me in. And who can resist the wonderful chuncks of color he uses?
